I have received lots of cards lately and thought this might be a great time to share them all with all of you. Each one is very special to me because it was sent from the heart. They aren’t all fancy and elaborate because a card sent from the heart is not about that. It’s about caring and that’s what makes them special.
This first one is really special. It is from my friend Chris Oehlman. Chris stamped her first card ever in Sept 2013 when I asked her last minute to come to one of my classes. She hasn’t missed a class since and is now on her second stamping space in her home, out growing her first space in just 4 months. She has taken to this craft like a duck to water. This is the graduation announcement and invitation she made for her daughter. She made 50 of these beauties. Isn’t it wonderful.
I love all the details Chris added, like the bow, the scroll, the googly eyes for the owl as well as the cap with the pearl. She even heat embossed the Graduation stamp in the front.
I received this card from Judy, but I’m not actually sure if she made it or if her daughter Jessica, the teacher, might have. I always check the back of cards and this one was blank. Reminder – give yourself credit ladies and gentlemen for all the work and creativity you put into your creations. The Thank You is cut out, I’m guessing with an e-cutter. I love how it pops and is perfect against the white and bright pink. Too cute.
When Chris first got into stamping and card making, she wasn’t sure who she would send cards to. Of course I suggested birthday’s as everyone she knows has one of those. She has now found lots of opportunities to send cards. Card making seems to do that to a person. Chris sent this card to me when I wasn’t feeling well a few weeks ago.
Chris made this card but it was actually sent to me from her daughter, Caroline. Caroline had borrowed some jewelry to wear with her prom dress and she asked her mother for a thank you card to send to me. Chris was so thrilled that now her daughter is seeing the value in having a card making mom and even if Caroline doesn’t make any of her own, she will be a card sender the rest of her life.
This last card is not hand made but I’ve included it in here because it made me giggle. I received this from my daughter, Kelsey. Hee hee.
Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to let the creators know how much you like their projects with your comments and I’ll pass them all along.

I’m touched! Thanks for sharing my work, Lynn. You’re my enabler, my teacher, my supplier of items it don’t yet have and most of all, my very dear friend!
Enjoyed your Mother’s Day card… My sentiment exactly…..
