UPDATE: Before I get to today’s post I want to update everyone on my stamping on a cell phone. You can see my original post here. I was worried that the blendabilities would eventully wear off of the hard white plastic case of my cell phone and they did. Well, except for the Cherry Cobbler. They seem to be staying on. I think if I do it again, I might, as one of my awesome readers suggested, put some type of sealant over it. Hmmmm, maybe clear nail polish would work.
Ok, now for today’s post. Avery the namesake of my blog and my oldest grandchild has a little sister, Hadley, who just turned 2 this month. Here is a picture of Hadley at her birthday dinner. Sorry for the grainy quality. She isn’t the best at sitting still for pictures. Most of my pictures of Hadley are grainy : )
For Hadley’s birthday card I used some of the materials from the July Paper Pumpkin kit. These kits are great to use as is, or, with some creativity of your own added in you can make them into something totally different. The July Paper Pumpkin came with double sided paper cut to make pinwheels attached to straws or bags. I chose to attach it to Hadley’s card.
I used several stamps from the retired set Bring on the Cake and then added an assortment of little banners punched with the Bitty Banner Punch attached to some baker’s twine also from the Paper Pumpkin. The polka dot paper on the front is from Park Lane, my favorite DSP in the catalog this year.
Thanks for stopping by today. If you have any questions about my projects leave a comment below or email me at StampingWithAverysOwlery@gmail.com. I love to hear from you.
Love this card and your two beautiful girls. I have two girls and they have grown up to be such friends, like your picture of them together. The card is very festive. Great way to use the extra twirly! Love the inside with the #2 colored in!
🙂
Sweet card and sweet girls! Happy Birthday Hadley. 🙂
Could there be two more adorable children in all of the world? Thanks for sharing pictures – and your cute card. I’m sure she loved her card from NiNi and Pop. 🙂
what adorable girls. I have 4 precious grandsons, but no girls……the card is adorable also 🙂
