Do you remember when I posted that Blendabilities were cool and that you could color on anything, you can see that post here. Well let me tell ya, I did just that for today’s post. My cell phone had a rough week. I dropped it, twice in two seconds and the second time the screen shattered. Ergh. I found a shop here in Columbus who advertised Speedy Repair ( in fact that was the name of the shop : ) and after a lot of money – they were the least expensive option other than replacing it myself and that was a very scary thought – they had replaced the glass for me in about 30 mins. But, how to protect my phone from breaking again? I purchased a new cell phone case, with an attached screen protector. There was only one problem. The case was boring. All white. See.
So, following my own advice I pulled out one of the little flowers from the Pictogram Punches stamp set – this set coordinates with the new Itty Bitty Accent Punch Pack – and my Blendabilities. I used the marker end to color and stamp – quickly because it is alcohol based and dries practically instantly – and started stamping away. I used at least one of each of the three markers for each color, usually the middle one. Now it looks like….
Now I feel better….and it doesn’t look like anyone else’s phone cover, that’s for sure.
Thanks for stopping by today. If you have any questions about any of my projects, leave a comment below – or leave a comment just cause you like my project : ), – or email me at StampingWithAverysOwlery@gmail.com.

What a great idea Lynn.
Oh this is great! I’m very interested in the wear of this beautiful art work. Please keep us posted. My daughter drew on her case, a softer rubber case, with Sharpie paint markers and it wore off in less than one day. I’m just hoping the flowers don’t wear off on your hands. It also looks like your case is the hard plastic kind. I love this idea and have not purchased any blendies, but this would surely push me to do so. 🙂
This is so fun!
Gorgeous!!
That is just plain BRILLIANT ! If it does wear off, you may be able to put a protective coating over it. I used alcohol ink on plastic dominos and it did wear off a bit. So maybe a coating is the answer. Please give us updates on your phones progress.
