Better get Better for the Pals Paper Arts and Mojo Monday

I recently found out that one of my customers had been very ill and in the hospital. What better way to cheer her up but to send her a card.

From start to finish I whipped this baby up in about 30 mins, including design time.  How did I do that.  First I found the Paper Players challenge which called for a card with a button(s) on it.  Then the Pals PPA214 Island Indigo Crisp Cantaloupe Wild WasabiPaper Arts challenge # 214 this week was to use Island Indigo, Crisp Canteloup and Wild Wasabi.

Lastly, Mojo Monday for this weeks sketch challenge.  All those plus some DSP laying out on my desk and Bing Bang Boom.  Done.1-IMG_1559

I pulled out the boutique borders photopolymer stamp set to create the background.  I used retired Wild Wasabi embossing powder on the Island Indigo CS for the sentiment from a Dozen Thoughts for a touch of brightness on the darker color card stock.  I’m not a huge user of buttons so my supplies were very limited but I like the two I found layered on top of each other.  I honestly think it took me longer to find the buttons I wanted to use that the whole rest of the card.

Thanks for stopping by today. If you ever have any questions or comments about any of my projects leave a comment below or email me at
