Happy Accident

Have you ever been cleaning up your ubber messing stamping space and all of a sudden you see papers laying together that you had never considered together before.  Ok, so maybe you are neater stamper than I am and never have to clean your stamping space.  By the way, I don’t think neat stampers actually exist.  I think they are in the same category as unicorns and Big Foot.  Just sayin. Anyway, I was cleaning my space and look what fell together.

Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin Thoughts and Prayers

The Hello cut out was from my August Paper Pumpkin kit.  You can see other ways I used that kit here.  It happened to land on top of that piece of basic black which was next to the pool party card base. Normally I’m an all the same size layer kind of girl but I rather liked the way the black was wide enough to fill the Hello but not all the way, and was taller than the Hello piece.

Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin Thoughts and PrayersI had recently pulled out the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set for another card and realized the branch was a nice frame for the hello.  Stamp with memento tuxedo black ink and add some pearls.  Done.  I repeated the branch on the inside with a get well sentiment also from that set.  I actually like it when one stamp set has everything I need.
