Scattered Thanks

This week I’m back to fall colors fall cards and fall themes.  The colors of fall are so beautiful and so easy to create.  Today’s card uses only one stamp, with lots of layers

Stapmin UP Seasonally Scattered Baby wipe technique

Seasonally Scattered is the stamp set.  It contains this Thanks, as well as Love with little hearts around it an Merry with little stars around it.  I personally like the Thanks with the leaves and vines the best.  While it immediately says Fall I think it can also be used in the spring with subtle colors, or perhaps in silver embossing.

Technique:  Color the Stamp To color the Stapmin UP Seasonally Scattered Baby wipe techniquestamp I used the Baby WIpe technique.  I had never used this technique before but had seen it done and felt like this stamp would be a great way to show that off.  Using one baby wipe spread flat I used my re-inkers from Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Cherry Cobbler adding drops of each on the wipe.  Let them run together a bit and then stamp on it to pick up the various colors.  No need to be neat about it.  The beauty is in how they all run together.

Layers.  I used the same three colors in the stamp for my layers of paper, using a layer of very vanilla in between each.  The stamped image is on 4 3/8 x 3 1/8.  Each layer is 1/8 bigger all the way around. The card base is standard 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.

Thanks for stopping by today. If you ever have any questions or comments about any of my projects leave a comment below or email me at StampingWithAverysOwlery@gmail.com
