Holiday Cards in Blue

Earlier this month I attended a World Card Making Day event in Atlanta Georgia hosted by my upline Brian King and his upline Pam Morris. One of the many highlights of the weekend was the card swap.  I thought I’d share some of the cards I received.  They are so beautiful. All the cards today are in shades of blue.  Blue is the new Red/Green combo for Christmas this year and these cards are stunning in their use of blue, green, grey.

Stampin Up Ornamental Pine

Amy Whelan

Amy’s card is so unique.  She used the pinecones from the Ornamental Pine stamp set to create her wreath.  There’s also some glitter on the Lost Lagoon (not really visible in the picture) that makes is really stand out.

Wonderful Wreath Framelits

Julie DiMatteo

One of my favorite stamp sets is the Endless Wishes.  Julie combines the snowflake images perfectly here and tops it with a silver foil ‘ Joy ‘ from the Wondrous Wreath Framelits.

Stampin UP Project Life Holiday Cheer

Patti Carrbonell

Project Life stamps are not just for scrap booking.  Patti used the Baby it’s Cold Outside stamp from the Project Life Holiday Cheer to create this super cute card.  She’s added Frosted Sequins for a perfect touch.

Stampin Up Festival of Trees Tree Punch

Jackie Beers

How cute is this.  Jackie took the tree punch from the smokey slate paper to add on top of the embossed card stock.
