My last Halloween card for the year, I think. You never know, I might decide I have one more in me…
This is another case’d card. I’m not unable to create my own designs but sometimes others are just too good to not do them the honor of recreating. This card was originated by Jodi McKinney at Life in Between. You can see her card Here. This card starts out with a piece of whisper white cardstock. I recently had my stamp class students create it and one commented she thought the paper was already colored that way, not that we were going to color it. I used a 1-1/4″ circle punch and a cropped house using the holiday home framelits as a mask on my card while I worked on the background. For the background I started with Daffodil Delight sponged over the paper, then added in Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow – for the grass as well as the sky and Baked Brown Sugar. The ghosts were then stamped using Memento then colored in using an aqua painter and white craft ink. The sun – or moon if you prefer – were colored in using Daffodil Delight and a touch of cajun craze.
This card also uses a new product, to me anyway, called Flower Soft. The little leaves scattered around is actually a product called flower soft, the autumn collection. Adhered with glue wherever you want to add a 3-D effect. The Hardwood Stamp inked in Baked Brown Sugar on the Soft Suede Cardstock set came in handy for the very back background and I think the perfect effect.Don’t forget the inside. I used the Boo! and raven from the September Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Love the card!! Where do you get the ‘flower soft’?? Is that a Stampin’ Up product?? I’ve never heard of it but looks interesting!!
I found flower soft products on Amazon. They aren’t a Stampin up product. The autumn collection came with three containers about the size of our embossing powder stuffed full of tiny little bits of stuff. One was orange and yellow combined, one was dark brown like early espresso and the third was cherry cobbler colored. I also purchased the spring collection with a green and a pastel combination and one other I can’t remember right now. Lastly I purchased some white for ‘snow’. There are hundreds of colors so it would be easy to go a little overboard. Each container has a bunch of product that will last a long time do you get a lot for your money. I just thought it looked so cool with that texture.
Happy stamping

Love your card! The first time I saw Flower Soft products, I fell in love. Ask me how many colors I have? (no, you probably shouldn’t). Ask me how many times I’ve used them? (you really shouldn’t as me that)! It’s such a shame…. You have revitalized my desire to try it with this gorgeous creation! Love what you did with the coloring/sponging. It’s a super cool card!
Great job! I am flattered that you CASE’d! Thanks for sharing.
