Mr and Mrs in Golden elegance

I love an elegant card and I think a wedding or anniversary certainly call for that style. We had 2 wedding anniversaries as well as a wedding to attend at the of September.  I made this card for those three occasions.

Tips and Techniques:  Who doesn’t love embossing.  How about gold embossing on gold foil.  That is exactly what I did for the Mr and Mrs sentiment in the center.  The Label Love stamp was applied with versamark on Gold foil then heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  Subtle and lovely.

Additional pieces of gold foil, some gold designed vellum and gold glitter paper complete the look but don’t overwhelm it because of the abundance of Very Vanilla ‘white space’.

I also heat embossed the sentiment Happy Anniversary from Teeny Tiny Wishes  inside the card with gold embossing powder.  For the wedding card I used Happy Together stamp from the A Dozen Thoughts stamp set.
