I received my November Paper Pumpkin little orange box in the mail this week. I never know what is going to be inside, which is part of the appeal I suppose. I sometimes make the project exactly like it was designed, I sometimes do something completely different with it. This months, I pretty much stuck to the instructions and I have to say I’m thrilled with the results. I ended up with 8 super cute holiday cards – with envelopes – ready to send out as well as 12 Gift tags. Now that is a deal for roughly $20. Here’s what I made.
The tags are two layered and double sided, with one layer having the cut out Happy Holiday. The White layer I stamped with the snow flake and To From with some extra embellishing. The only thing I did differently from the instructions was the inside of the card. I cut some pieces of my own Whisper White to 5.25 x 4 inches and used that for the inside piece stamped with the sentiment from the kit.
These kits would make great gifts for your crafty friends and family. Well, actually for yourself too if you haven’t already jumped on the Paper Pumpkin bandwagon. Kits can be purchased as a month to month renewal subscription, or in 3, 6 or 12 mo subscriptions, and they can be added to your order and help you towards earning hostess benefits and free stuff. Agree that this is an AMAZING kit – they’ve really ramped up the greatness on these kits.
I agree with Brian. I put mine together this week during a conference call while working from home (hee hee). The kit also has so many extras that are left over the ideas are swirling in my head. :-).
