Triple time stamping for a Sympathy card

It’s always unfortunate when I need a sympathy card and this time was no different.  The mother-in-law of one of my staff members passed away last week.  I made this card to send to him and his wife.

Triple Time Stamping – It’s been a long time since I’ve used this technique and I’m not really sure why I waited. It is such a pretty way to show off stamps or designs.  Today’s card uses Kinda Eclectic stamp set on a Baked Brown Sugar card base.  The border was stamped with Baked Brown Sugar ink.  The layers are Very Vanilla with Soft Suede.  I stamped the leaves with Mossy Meadow – my new favorite color green – and the butterflies in Daffodil Delight and Blushing Bride.  I stamped the butterflies again and punched them out with the two coordinating butterfly punches.  The pearls add just the right touch.

  1. I know your card will bless them. It’s beautiful.

  2. I really like your care. Love triple time.
My ? is what do you put on the inside of the card?
    Thanks

    • Hi Claudia. For this card I fid not put a sentiment inside but I did stamp the leaves used on the front as well as the butterflies in two of the corners. That left plenty of room still for me to write a message.

      Thanks for asking b
