I know this is a stamping blog and you all are looking for cards and projects from me using my paper, ink and embellishments. Today I’m taking a quick break from stamping to share that my husband (Steve) and I are new parents. Yup, you wouldn’t think at our respective ages we would be interested in starting with a new addition but we took the leap in December and it is time to introduce you all, my faithful readers, to Hank.
Ok, now I know all parents think their kids are the most beautiful, but honestly, isn’t he the most cutest puppy you have ever seen? Hank is a Labrodoodle, and as of this posting, is 15 weeks old. The vet expects him to top out around 80 lbs. I’ve wanted a Doodle for a long time as they remind me of a dog we had when I was a kid. Her name was Raggedy Ann we called her Rags. She wasn’t a doodle, probably some kind of terrier mix, but had curly hair and a wonderful personality. Hank is on the path to being as great a dog as she was. He loves to snuggle, play fetch and chase his tail. I’m sure there will be periodic postings of Hank and his antics over the coming months and years.

Hank is adorable! We also added a puppy to our family in December after losing our beloved White GSD. Piper is 11 week old Lab/Shepherd and full of puppy energy and unconditional love. Her favorite spot is my stamping room – go figure!

Hank is beautiful! My husband and I said we would never get another dog after so many years, but alas we have two small rescues we adopted from a shelter. Lol and we adore them both. Good luck with your new addition and keep us all posted!
