Sometimes, you need a card to say you care. This week a co-worker’s mother was put in the hospital and is not doing very well. My fellow co-workers agreed we should give him a card to let him know we are thinking about his mother and our prayers are with him and his family. I think in situations like these, an understated card can do the trick. Very quick but also very pretty.
I used a neutral color pallet of Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Whisper White. The stamps, both from Thoughts and Prayers were inked in Early Espresso. Final touch of Crumb Cake ribbon and tiny pearls. The whisper white layer is punched up on stamping dimensionals. For the inside, I re-stamped the branch in the top left corner and then hand wrote the message from all of us. I told you it was quick but I really really like this card. I think it embodies my style quite well.
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE – The sentiment is actually from A Dozen Thought. Thanks to Maggi for noticing my boo boo.

Lynn…the card is exceptional! I did not find the verbiage “you’re in my thoughts” in the stamp set….could you please reply where that stamp is from?
Hi Maggi, I’m so so sorry. You are right, that sentiment is NOT from Thoughts and Prayers, it is from A Dozen Thoughts. Thank you so much for catching that. I’ll update the post right away!!.
