World Of Dreams for a Good Luck Card

My co-worker asked me to make three Good Luck cards for members of her staff.  They were all leaving her department for other positions.  No problem I said.  Do you know that in my vast supply of stamps from Stampin Up, there is not a single stamp sentiment that says Good Luck!  I looked and looked and looked.  I eventually realized I was going to have to improvise, something that we stampers and crafters are known to do on occasion.  Here are the cards I created and my tips for how below. Stampin Up World of Dreams AverysOwlery.com

I pulled out World of Dreams stamp set and various  Stacked with Love washi tape to create the background, along with a bit of Gorgeous Grunge.  I stamped these on Natural White Card stock.  You might have overlooked this card stock yourself.  It is not white really, but nearly, and has fibres showing throughout.  It is also thick like regular card stock, not like our Very Vanilla or Whisper White so it can hold up to the task of being a card base.

It fit nicely inside either the Extra-Large Oval punch or the Large Oval punch, I’ve used both in my cards.  For the matting, I punched the oval again out of Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper.  I felt this sentiment worked well for a ‘good luck’ card.  What do you think?  I think this might make for a great graduation card too.
