Happy Anniversary with Sheer Perfection Vellum

Soft and subtle.  Those two words describe my card today.  I created this for my step-son and his wife’s 1 year wedding anniversary.  I used the printed vellum sheets that were available during Sale-a-Bration this year.  Stampin Up Sheer Perfection Vellum Your Perfect Day AverysOwlery.com

The Sheer Perfection vellum stack comes with several printed designs in Basic Grey. I colored the back side of the vellum with my Wild Wasabi marker and layered it over Soft Sky. The sentiment is from the Your Perfect Day stamp set, embossed with White embossing powder on Soft Sky card stock.  I popped it up with dimensional on another piece of Soft Sky for a soft matting over a  piece of white 5/8 Organza Ribbon.Stampin Up Sheer Perfection Vellum Your Perfect Day AverysOwlery.com

Don’t forget the inside.  The leaf stamp in Soft Sky ink is from Crazy About You over laid Happy Anniversary is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  The finishing touch is an envelop made from Soft Sky card stock and the Envelop Punch Board.

There has been much posted on the internet about how to adhere Vellum to card stock so that it doesn’t show through.  Regular tape runners and glue dots will be visible under the vellum and that might not be the look you are going for.  To adhere my vellum to my card stock I used a specialize Vellum tape runner made specifically for this purpose.  It is made by Therm O Web and as you can’t see in the picture : ) it is invisible.
