Happy Easter – Part 1

As many of you know, I have several little children in my live, all under the age of 7. Two grand daughters, one niece and 3 nephews.  I like to make them cards for the holidays and the love to receive them.  Here is the card I sent them this past week for celebrating Easter.

I thought that cute little Chick in Cheerful Critters would be perfect for holding up a Happy Easter sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I stamped the chick twice and snipped out the sign to pop up on dimensionals and funky angle.   I used my aqua pen and ink pads to color in his shirt and face.  The flower background on the sign is from Sheltering Tree.  NOTE: those stems make a great grass stamp too.  The paper for the background and the Easter Eggs all came from Best Day Ever Designer Series Paper from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  I used my Small Oval punch to create the Easter Eggs Stampin Up Cheerful Critters AverysOwlery.comfrom various pieces of paper from that stack.

Don’t forget the inside.  I repeated the flowers using the same colors of Coastal Cabana, Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi.
