First here is my card project for today.
Now, three reasons why you should put the Sprinkles of Life stamp set on your wish list for June.
- The Sprinkle of Life stamp set comes with 22 photopolymer stamps with so many combination options you’ll have a hard time running out of ways to use this set
- The Sprinkle of Life stamp set coordinates with the new Tree Builder Punch. This punch is so awesome. It punches a tree trunk, an Apple, a bird, a flower, and a tree top/cupcake top/ice cream top.
- But the best reason for purchasing Sprinkle of Life stamp set is that it helps support the Ronald McDonald House Charities program keeping families together while their loved ones are in the hospital. For each Sprinkle of Life stamp set purchase, Stampin Up will donate $3 to this worthy cause. What better reason do you need.
About my card. I used the Sprinkles of Life stamp set for everything today. The clouds were stamped with Smokey Slate on Whisper white. The tree leaves were stamped with Cucumber Crush ink on Cucumber Crush paper – a new in-color for 2015. I used Cucumber Crush for the grass and with Hello Honey for the flowers. The Sun is from Kinda Ecclectic and stamped with Hello Honey on top of a field of Soft Sky. I used the Soft Sky ink pad and drug it across the paper several times to create the background. This is a really easy technique but I forget about it. I had originally tried a watercolor wash for the sky but wasn’t satisfied with the outcome. Ink pad to the rescue.
