I mentioned in my last post that I love the kits in the new annual catalog. Today’s post is about the Cottage Greetings kit. The cards are all 5×5 square cards so they are already unique, but Stampin Up has gone another one better by including Silver Foil envelope liners and thin wood panels. It’s the attention to detail that has me hooked on the kits this year.
Even though there are so many cute details, these 15 cards go together quite easily in a matter of an hour or so. The coordinating stamp set Cottage Garden provides a whimsical font and flower images but if you notice on this last card here, I pulled out one of the stamp sets from my May 2015 paper Pumpkin to make this card into a birthday card. I thought the image here went just as well with the design of the card. Goes to show you can just change small parts of a kit, or go big and change the whole thing. It’s your kit, make it your own.
