While at the Stampin Up convention it is very common to find roommates to share expenses and have fun with. My roommate, Deb, is from the Seattle Washington area and this card is for her to thank her for being my roomy.
I used my new stamp set A World of Thanks (thank you Lisa Pretto for giving me this stamp set) to create a one of a kind card for Deb. I used the Baby Wipe technique to color the large stamp, dropping Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive ink on a flat baby wipe and letting it spread. Use the wipe as your ink pad and stamp on Whisper White.
I used the color challange from the Pals Paper Arts as my color inspiration. Color challenges are flexible and you can swap out one color for a similar color. In this case I used Old Olive instead of Pear Pizzazz because of the ribbon I had on hand.
The Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive ribbon (both retired I think) added some grounding to the card and offset the sentiment stamped and embossed in white on Pacific Point. I love this Thank You stamp from On Big Meaning. I’ve already used it several times. It fits perfectly in a 2″ circle punch.
