A study in Blues

Stampin Up AverysOwlery.comToday’s card is just a quick notecard size I tout together to celebrate the retirement of a dear friend.  I was digging around in my cabinets looking for something I had misplaced when I pulled out a card kit from 2014 I think called Everyday Occasion.  The kit was great but I used Hartley any of it.  Of course I had big plans but you know how that goes.

As I was going through the contents of the box, comp,Evelyn forgetting what I was originally looking for, I realized that there were some nice elements I could use now, card bases, and shape punch outs, banners and flags.  I used the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes and added some ribbon and Fada, my card was done.

I have since pulled out all the parts of the kit and put them in a bag.  I’m going to challenge one of my classes to use the pieces to come up with cards of their own along with anything else I put on the table. I know they have the creativity in them.

Thanks for stopping by today.
