My daughter has favorite Christmas colors that she uses throughout her home for decorating. They just aren’t your typical red and green holiday colors. Katie likes colors like Mellon Mambo, Tempting Tourquise, Island Indigo, Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive to make up her color pallett. She also wanted an advent tree like I posted earlier this month, only in her colors, you can see that post by clicking Here. This is what we came up with for her. It was a fun take on an old tradition.
The same basic layout, using the mini treat boxes and Designer Series Paper on 4 sides. We used the Brights Collection Designer Series Paper Stack for the patterns. The base of the tree is a wide 1 inch ribbon spool with cardboard and thick whisper white large scalloped circles for support. A hot glue gun works best for assembly.
Here is Avery holding the tree. She helped organize the papers. The ribbon on top is non-SU purchase years ago for some project or other. The numbers I created using now retired My Digital Studio, printed then cropped with a 1-1/4 scallop circle punch.
