Another thing I saw at World Card Making Day was this fabulous Advent Tree. I saw this on display brought by an attendee and fell in love with the concept.
Using Tiny Treat Boxes and Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper I covered the front, top and sides of each box. There are 25 boxes in the set so it comes out perfectly. The base is an empty ribbon spool covered with Into the Woods woodgrain Designer series paper. I cut the largest scallop circle twice, once in Early Espresso and once in the heavy card that comes in the package of Designer series paper.
Each box opens from the front with a little treat inside. I purposly jumbled up the boxes to make it more fun to open. The numbers can be done with any software program with a 1 inch circle outline or with the Project Life Hello December 2015 Project Life Accessory Pack that comes with the numbers I used above as well as lots of other great accessories.

I love this project. How did you stick the boxes together? Thank you.
I used a Hot Glue Gun for building the tree., I felt it was the quickest and most secure way. Be sure to lay out each layer individually before building the tree so you assure you have it the way you want it. My first attempt I had to take apart because I had missed a box. : )

I love this idea! How many boxes do you have on each level?
Hi Karen, I put 6 boxes on the bottom two levels, 5 on the next, 4 on the next, then 3 with #25 on the top for a total of 6 levels.
Thank you Lynn!
