I love it when I can create an entire card out of things left on my work table. Last week I was busy making gift boxes with coloring cards inside. You can see that post here. Included in the box are colored envelopes I made out of colored card stock and my envelope punch board. As I was cleaning up I found left over colored card stock that could be made into a 4-1/4 x 4-1/4 card. I also found some whisper white and some embossed Festival of Trees punced with the Tree Punch from a failed card attempt a few weeks ago. Put it all together and this is what came out.
I love the red bows using Real Red 1/8 inch striped ribbon. The sentiment is from Lighthearted Leaves which also happened to be sitting on my desk. The Home For Christmas Enamel Dots balanced out the card.
Don’t forget the inside, I used the Home for the Holidays and my markers to adorn the inside.

Great job using scraps! I just might gather up my scraps…I have a few…and make a similar card. Thanks for sharing.
I love when something wonderful comes from something I struggled with. I often set things on the side of my table and come back to them. Love that you made this card with a scrapped project – it’s adorable.
This is such a cute card! I seem to never use my extras….I keep trying though….I love the trees and the believe sentiment…
