The end of the year is almost here and that means that the new Occassions Catalog will be open for business soon, January 5. My card today isa sneak peak of some of the new products available. My husband’s cousin passed away earlier this month. He had been ill for a long time but his wife of 40+ years will miss him dearly.
The botanical builder framelits have some unique designs, ones we haven’t seen previously. Check out the two flowers with the double petals. I cropped them both using so saffron then sponged calypso coral around the edges and centers.
The leaf framelits makes a very pretty border, rather than a separate piece. I love this aspect. Cutting it out of mossy meadow I layered it over another sneak peak of Designer series paper.
And how about the other intricate leaves. The detail of this die is amazing. Like a laser die cut results only using a big shot. With the coordinating stamp set you can stamp and it before you crop, or just stamp like I did for a background.
Stampin Up has created a bundle for all of these products. For $51.75 you receive the Botanical Blooms Stamp Set, Botanical Gardens Paper, and Botanical Builder Framelits Dies. Plus, because it is over $50 you can select a free item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog . There are two free items that specifically coordinate with this bundle. Botanicals for You Stamp Set or the Botanical Gardnes vellum pack. Or select any one of the of the other free items. They are all great.

Lynn
Lynn, this card is stunning! So pretty in every way. I am sorry about the loss of your husband’s cousin.
Lynn, this is my all time favorite suite in the new catalog. I’ve already made 3 cards using these framelits and paper. Your take is really cool. I love how you stamped the leaves on the Mossy Meadow paper, as a background. It’s a perfect match to the dsp on the left side. Beautiful! My prayers for your family at your time of loss. Happy New Year though…may 2016 be the best ever!
I love this card idea… I’ve seen so many good ideas using this bundle…. I’m guessing that it’s going to go back ordered…lol. Thank you for sharing your wonderful creativity
Your card is gorgeous!
