A Woven and Delicate 3D Ornament

I was cruising around You Tube the other day and came across a video tutorial on creating these beautiful 3D woven ornaments.  The video was from several years ago but the technique is as pertinent as ever.

Here is my take on it.  Stampin Up AverysOwlery.com Delicat Ornaments

The coolest thing about this design is it can be made with one 6×6 piece of paper.  I used Home for Christmas DSP to create this one but any paper would do.

Here is the original video.

I thought the front of the ornament needed a bit more, so I used the Delicate Ornament Thinlets and Gold Glimmer paper to create another ornament on top.  Stampin Up AverysOwlery.com Delicat Ornaments

  3. Love your Ornament! Thanks for sharing!

Not a fan of Martha Stewart ~ Too funny about her comment ~ we all could be “Blog Experts” if we had “Experts” writing our Blogs like she does. I didn’t see what you are talking about so all I know is what you said on the video.

  4. I loved your video and I appreciate any tips or techniques that you share with me. You do not have to “be an expert”, just passionate about what you are doing. Your sincerity and helpful friendliness show through your video. Thanks for sharing. Please continue.
