Throw Back Thursday on a Friday

As I was prepping for an upcoming technique class I was looking through all the cards I had pinned over the years.  I came across this one from Mary Fish and decided to recreate it with today’s products.  To see Mary’s original, click here.

What attracted me about Mary’s card was the stamping, or what I thought was stamping, on window sheets. Mary actually used a rub on that Stampin Up doesn’t carry anymore.  I liked the floating look of the image over the top of the ovals.  I recreated it using Jet Black Stazon with Flowering Flourishes.  One oval is on top of the window sheet with the Thinink of You from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamped in the middle.  I used my paper piercing tool to place holes in the corners of the window sheet and the piece of whisper white underneath.  I used silver brads to attch it.

I carried the same stamp set to the inside and added a sentiment from Thoughts and Prayers.  I’ve been asked to make 25 various Thinking of You cards so this was one to add to the pile.
