My nephew, Cam, turns 17 this week. Cam loves baseball and playing guitar along with lots of other things teenage boys like, such as driving, cash, freedom, etc. For Cam’s birthday this week I pulled out the Skating By Stamp Set, another I hadn’t inked up yet but had in my cubbard for several months. The Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge put me in mind of a gate fold card.
The gate fold was easy. I cut the card base from Thick Whisper White card stock at 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. I scored it at 1 -1/2 and 2-3/4. The square basic black mat piece is 3-3/4 and the DSP is Wildflower Fields in the Sale-a-Bration catalog, free with a $50 product order. The red accent paper I pulled from my retired stash called Stacked with Love.
I heat embossed the guitar and You Rock on basic black card stock then snipped it out and popped it up on dimensionals.
I touched up the inside with some pieces of Washi Tape. It’s so easy to add a ittle pizzazz with washi.
