Happy Home Window to Spring

I will admit that I was not the first stamper to jump on the Hearth and Home window framelit first offered way way back in September with the Holiday catalog.  Why would I need that,  I thought.  I can cut a square in my own paper.  So I held off throughout the entire Holiday selling season.  Then the Occasions catalog came out and there that framelit was again, this time with another coordinating stamp set, Happy Home.  But still I held out, until I just couldn’t any more.  Here is my first card I made with this framelit and stamp set.

I purposly left off a sentiment, figuring that I could add one from either Teeny Tiny Wishes or And Many More punched with the Word Window punch when I had the right recipient.

I cut both pieces of Crumb Cake and Early Espresso with the framelit at the same time then placed the espresso one back in the opening.  I stamped the outside of the card base through the window and colored it with markers.

I restamped the same image on the inside but colored it differently, more summer like, with the front of the card being more spring.

The Hardwood stamp makes a great ‘wall’ around the window.

With so many other cute images in the Happy Home stamp set I’m sure I’ll find many more ways to ink this set up.
