Something about a See Through Card

I loved all the examples in the catalog I have seen using the Detailed Floral Thinlits.  The are just a beautiful die with perfect cuts.  I have seen the two pieces used in a gate fold style card as well as decorative on boxes and bags.  I wanted to see if I could use them a bit differently.  I placed both dies on the card base with the flat ends touching.  They were just a bit smaller than a standard 4 1/4 wide card base so there would be boarder on all the edges.  I ran it through the big shot and this is what came out.  Stampin Up Floral Thinlits AverysOwlery. com

There is just a bit of a tiny line where the two dies came together.  I used some white ribbon and some Night of Navy Bakers Twine over the top and added some die cut flowers from the Flourish Thinlits die set.  I also had cut out a piece of Daffodil Delight using the ribbon die in Flourish Thinlits.  It didn’t look right on the front of the card but looked great accenting the inside.

  1. Wow! I love that you didn’t mount the back of this – I love the see-through approach. Great colors and beautiful layering.

  2. Lynn, this is beautiful! I like your version better than the one in the SU catty.
