A Milestone Birthday and Global Design Project

Stampin Up AverysOwlery.com Number of Years

PICK YOUR TOPIC

I have two granddaughters, and one grandson.  My oldest granddaughter is Avery, the namesake of this blog and my stamping business.  She has a younger sister, Hadley who turns 4 today.  Four is a huge milestone birthday, you know why?  Because it is often times the first birthday you will remember the rest of your life.  The age of four, memories become longer term and earliest memories are most often around that age.

Hadley has been talking about her birthday for months.  As of 6 days before her birthday, she couldn’t tell you what she wanted for her birthday, but boy she knew she was having one.

Here is a picture of Hadley when we went to the Zoo.  1-IMG_0747

PICK YOUR COLORS

Hadley’s favorite color is Dark Pink.  Think Melon Mambo.  So I had to make her very special birthday card using Dark Pink that fit right in with the Global Design Project color challenge this week. GDP045_Colour_Challenge

PICK YOUR STAMPS

I knew Number of Years would be the perfect set for a card for Hadley.  She also loves flowers, especially pink ones.  And who doesn’t love sprinkles.  I used the new Sprinkles punch with Silver Foil for fun confetti on her card.
