Loving Layering Love

New in the annual  catalog there is a stamp set called Layering Love.  I will admit that it wasn’t top of my list to purchase but I’m so glad I did.  I have two posts for you this week using this stamp set.  The thing that makes it great is the coordination with several of the framelit sets.

PICK YOUR SENTIMENT

I really like that so many of Stampin Ups stamps coordinate with punches and framelits.  Like this stamp here.  It works perfectly with the oval framelits.  I used two of them to create the centerpiece.

PICK YOUR COLORS

I like gray and yellow.  The black touches it off nicely.

PICK YOUR BACKGROUND 

I mentioned I used the layering love set for the sentiment.  For the background I used the flower from the Falling Flower stamped lightly then splatters from the Touches of Texture.  The gray striped washi tape adds the final accent.
