There are some color combinations that are just always wonderful together and today’combo of pinks and grey is one of them. I was inspired to make a pink and gray card because I happened to wear pink and gray to church this weekend and one of my friends commented on the colors. Then my head went Ding Ding Ding. Why not make a card? So here you go.
Unfortunately sympathy cards seem always to be in demand. I didn’t have a need for one today but I needed to make some to have on hand at my workplace.
I pulled out two of the Saleabration stamp sets Avant Garden and Delicate Details (earn one free with a $50 order or both with a $100 order) and my MISTI tool. The MISTI (Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented) was perfect for accurate and straight placement of the lace stamp. I stamped it once in full strength Basic Gray, then turned the paper and lined it up and stamped it again without reinking right underneath for the shadow look. MISTIs are available in two sizes and can be purchased from mysweetpetunia.com. I also used the MISTI for the sentiment, so I could 1, be sure it was straight on the card front, and 2, be able to ink multiple times for the best coverage and crisp look.
I stamped the flowers from Avant Garden using Pink Pirouette three times and added some basic gray stamped off leaves and of course pearls.
Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to stop back soon, or subsribe. I’m also on facebook and pinterest.
