Welcome to InKing Royalty’s May Blog Hop! Today’s Blog Hop is filled with projects that offer you a sneak peek at new items in Stampin’ Up!’s 2017 Annual Catalog. We are so excited about the June 1 release of this new catalog – it’s AMAZING – and we are excited to share our sneak peek creations with you today. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
Sneak Peek #1. Daisy Punch, Eastern Palace DSP
I had an opportunity to play with the new Daisy Punch this weekend to make a gift bag and gift card holder. I used the Daisy punch to create the focal point for both. I used the Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper with the gift bag punch board for the bag as well as the tags on the front. This punch pairs with a stamp set, paper, ribbon and faceted gem embellishments. You don’t want to miss this fresh suite of products when they are available to order in June.
Sneak Peek #2 – Pretty Label and Label Me Pretty Stamp Set
For the gift card holder I used the daisy punch again, but also the new Pretty Label punch with the coordinating Label Me Pretty stamp set. I punched the label out twice in Dapper Denim and cut each piece in half, one long ways and the other short ways. I then used those four pieces to make a layered border behind the whisper white piece. I used to do this all the time with the Decorative Label Punch when I wanted the top layer to be ‘grounded’.
Sneak Peek #3 – Lemon Lime Twist Card Stock and 1/2 Finely Woven Ribbon
One of my favorite new In-Colors this year is Lemon Lime Twist. I have to admit, I didn’t think it would be when I first saw it. What would I ever do with that bold bright yellow-green color. Well let me tell you, LOTS. It pairs wonderfully with Dapper Denim like I have done here, but also with Pool Party (yup, just wait), Black, Gold and so many more. You will be seeing this color a lot across the Stampin Up Universe.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop,Rachael Shedeed at Bluebonnet Stampin’ . There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

Love what you have done and the colors that you used – Fantastic! Also, HUGE fan of what you did with the punch behind the flowers on the tag – Awesome!
Love how you combined these two very different product suites. I always get amazing ideas from you, Lynn!
What a great gift pair! I love everything about both! Definitely a Smile for the recipient!
Such great projects, Lynn! I love how you’ve used this otherwise-regal Designer Series Paper for such a cheery project. Your layering of banners and color is delightful.

Lemon Lime Twist looks amazing against the Dapper Demin in the Designer Series Paper. The daisy makes it so fun and cheerful. Such a great gift bag and card set. Love it.
