Ok, confession time. I love gadgets, and tools and things that do other things. I have about every tool or gadget or thing to help me with stamping. I have a Xyron adhesive machine, not one but TWO Misti’s and all the corner things, big shots, precision cut plates, magnetic plates….you get the idea.
So when I saw in the new catalog that there was such a thing as Embossing Paste, I was intrigued and knew I would be getting it, with all the gadgets that go with it too of course.
My first attempt. Underneath that awesome image from Lots of Love is the brick look in the background. That’s the embossing paste. Here is a video by Stampin’ UP! all about Embossing Paste.
In this card the paste is spread over the card front randomly, no mask necessary.
I will admit that on this one I added too much and it has warped the card base. I opted to go ahead and show it here so you wouldn’t make the same mistake. Next time I’ll go a little ligher-handed with the paste.
I hope you will consider purchasing these new embossing paste products and try your hand at some fabulous new texture options.
Happy Stamping
Lynn
These are gorgeous, Lynn! I’ve had a lot of fun with the embossing paste, too. Haven’t added color to it yet, but I’m getting there. 🙂
