Let the Good Times Roll – InKing Royalty April Blog Hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s April Blog Hop! This year’s hops are themed around some of our favorite songs. Today’s hop is pulls inspiration from B.B. King’s song “Let the Good Times Roll.” How fun is that?! We’ve created projects that either feature images with wheels (cards, wagons, bikes) or celebrate good times. We are excited to share our projects with you. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

THE DETAILS

I chose to go with the party theme, specifically an invitation and created this cute easy card with a new stamp set I won during my recent trip to Atlanta for Stampin’ Up! On Stage event for demonstrators.  Lots of inspiration to be found in that fabulous day, not to mention all the free items I brought home.  More on those in future posts.

I used Pumpkin Pie and Lemon Lime Twist and added some banners from scraps of DSP I had laying around.  If you are wanting to recreate the banner style with DSP you have laying around, the widths I used were 1″, 1/2 ” and 1/4″.

THE PRODUCTS

Pick a Pennant has a total of 76 photopolymer stamps including two banner designs, all letters, all numbers and some cute little accents making it perfect for anything you want to say.

I also used another new stamp set called Artisan Textures.  This is going to be a favorite for lots of you as it has those dots and splotches we like to use.  Reminds me of the past stamp set called Gorgeous Grunge.

THANK YOU
