Love What You Do Card Set

I’m a sucker for a box.  Boxes to put things in and boxes to make.  Totes for storage, containers for things.  I think it’s about the organization.  I’ve been creating a new craft room for myself so organization has been on my mind.  I’ll share all the details and pictures when it is finished, hopefully by Mother’s Day.

But today is a little box shared by Julie DiMatteo on her blog to hold note cards and envelopes.  I made the box and cards my own by using different paper and card designs and shared it with my stamping club last week.  They loved the project.  Let me show you what we made.

THE BOX

The box is made from just one 8.5 x 11 piece of Crumb Cake cardstock.  I like that it is one sheet, easy to cut and score and assemble.  Julie has directions on her blog and You Tube Channel.  Click Here to see her Video

The box can hold up to 10 note cards and 10 note card envelopes provided the Note Cards are single layer or very little embellishments.  I decided to add a little dimension to my cards so I was easily able to fit four cards and four envelopes in my box.

THE CARDS

I was cutting supplies for my 7 stamp club members and was able to use only 4 sheets of the beautiful Share What You Love Designer Series Paper available now with the Customer Bundles.  This paper is Specialty DSP because half of the sheets have a shimmer effect throughout the design making it so rich and beautiful.  My Club members loved this paper too.

I kept it simple with the same basic design and layout using the Pretty Label and Leaf Punch for accents.  The paper actually uses Blackberry Bliss in the design, a new core color available in June, but I didn’t have that color available yet so I substituted Berry Burst and it looked great.

I’m a sucker for a nice Thank You font and the Love What You Do stamp set delivered.  I’m sure it will be one of my go to stamps this year.

THE PRODUCTS

All the products below are available except the Nature’s Twine which will be out June 1. The Stamp set and DSP are in specialized customer bundles during the month of May then will be available for individual order  after June 1.
