Perennial Birthday

You can never have enough birthday cards.  Everyone you know has a birthday and would appreciate a card from you.  This is an easy one to make with just one stamp set and some bright bright colors.

THE TECHNIQUE

I first pulled out the brightest colors of all to make a super happy birthday card background.  Bermuda Bay, Mango Melody, Calypso Coral, Granny Apple Green and Blueberry Bushel. I masked off the middle of the 5×3.75 whisper white paper after I stamped Happy Birthday.  Then I just started adding flowers and images in random places and colors.  I peeled away the masking tape and filled in some blanks.  I added some glitter enamel dots in Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay to some of the flower centers.

It is hard to see but there is a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock that has been embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  It adds just the right amount of texture under the busy card front.
