I recently sent out the new Holiday Catalog (opens September 5) to all my customers. I wanted to include a token of my appreciation in with the catalog so I made these adorable pocket cards based on a project by Julie DiMatteo at PaperPixie.com. You can see her project HERE.
The pockets were pretty easy to come up with, using the a 6×6 piece of Designer Series Paper and some leaves cropped with the Detailed Leaves Thinlits Dies. Julie’s post had instructions but she has since put together a video tutorial as well.
I have to admit, I struggled a bit with the insert.
Version 1
Version 2
Final Version
As you can see, there were some utter failures until I finally landed on the perfect insert. Moving the Thank You sentiment to the outside of the pocket allowed the inside to stand by itself.
THANK YOU

Such a great layering of these leaves! I love your “final” version – the others are good, but the final one is so crisp and clean and fantastic! <3
