Highland Heather Beauty

Some more playing with the new Stampin Blends today with Highland Heather.  I had the Beautiful Day stamp set from sometime last year but had never used it. Shameful, I know. With the new blend colors I figured it was a good time to crack that baby open.

I also used the current Global Design Project Case the Designer challenge this week.

I obviously was influenced by the beautiful shades of purple Janneke used, as well as the rounded shape of the featured image.

Beautiful Day was designed for coloring, especially coloring with the new Alcohol based Stamp Blends.   Each color comes in a light and dark for some fantastic shading.  I’m no expert as you can see from my card, but I’m workin’ on it.

I used a simple striped DSP from the Subtles 6×6 patterned paper as the background as well as some of the flags.  I chose Call Me Clover as my highlight color and cropped out leaves from the Botanical Tags Thinlits as well as the Beautiful Layers thinlits.  I’m also really thankful there is a purple ribbon available now with the 1/4 mini striped in Gorgeous Grape.

Two fantastic programs are going on this month
PLUS if you place an order through me of $75 or more I’ll send you Metallic Pearls (121 each of Gold and silver adhesive backed pearls) as a free item. Who doesn’t love free!!
Use Host Code UKKQUYYP for any order under $150.

Bonus Days!!!  For every $50 you spend this month you earn $5 coupon to use in September.

You can rack up multiple coupons and save them up to use on one order in September, or spread them out on several September orders.  You decide.  I will also be offering a free item from me for anyone ordering $75 or more in the month of September.  Check back then to see what that free item will be.

What better item to purchase to meet that $50 but the Color Your Season Bundle.  The products can be purchased separately or as a bundle and include The Blended Season Stamp Set, Stitched Season Framelit Dies, and a new set of Watercolor Pencils. This set is perfect for year round stamping and the framelits with a double row of stitching are just gorgeous.

Thanks for stopping by today!
