Welcome to InKing Royalty’s April Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by a single word – and this month our projects are centered around SPRING. Spring is a special time of year – it’s fun to celebrate the beauty of nature and to get back outside during this transition of the seasons. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
I don’t think anything say spring like the paper in Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper. Did you know the images on this paper were photographed flowers from the Stampin Up property. Gorgeous. I chose several pieces to create my project today.
First the box
I used the Note Card Clutch I found in this video from SplitcoastStampers.com. You can see that VIDEO Here
I chose to pair the paper with Grapefruit Grove and Melon Mambo. I’m not big user of Melon Mambo, I really don’t know why, so it was fun to see all I could do with it and this Designer Series Paper.
Now for Note cards
Two Grapefruit Grove and two Melon Mambo. Couple of the sheets of DSP have ready made Frames on them. I cut them down so they would fit on the note card front, sometimes snipping all around. I paired the with the Love What You Do stamp Set and the Stitched Label Die set. I snipped out the inside of the die to create the frame. The die provides a stitched look all around the inside making it really easy to follow along.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop with Sue Jackson at Just Peachy Stamping There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
Happy Stamping

Lynn, these are exquisite!
Thanks so much Candy.
The cards are beautiful, but that “note card clutch” is quite lovely! Fun project, Lynn! So glad you hopped with us today! ♥
Thanks Brian. It’s funny how projects come together. I started with the cards, then needed something to put them in. The first version of the clutch I had the paper inside out. Not springy enough. Made it again and was so much happier.
Love the clutch! Of course the cards are wonderful as well and perfectly pair.
I love this clutch too. I think maybe Julie made it once before???? The Splitcoast stampers was from Mar 2019 but I swear I’ve seen it before then too. Glad you liked it Jackie.
Wow Lynn…what a gorgeous project! I love this DSP and might just have to CASE this!
Thanks Pam, it is definitely a great way to use it before it retires.
Lynn, what an adorable project, and so beautifully executed. Awesome example of Spring’s treasures.
Thanks Robbye. Spring is my favorite time of year and this was joyful to make
Gorgeous! I’ve saved the YouTube link, so thank you very much for sharing it. This will happen in the near future. What a wonderful gift!
Please share when you do. I’d love to see what you make.
Oh Lynn! What a gorgeous project! The clutch is fabulous and so are the cards that go in it!
Thanks Robin. It really is easy to make. I can see making more in the future.
What a absolutely perfect box!!! I loves is so much, Lynn!
And your cards are just stunning! These are definitely the best cards I have see with this paper!!
Awe thank you
Jennifer. I had fun working with those frames.
