This is my second post featuring the Pressed Petals Suite. You can see Monday’s post Path of Petals Thank You where I made a really pretty – at least I thought so – thank you card.
Today I’m sharing the Pressed Petal Journal. This is a lovely spiral bound journal perfect for slipping into your purse. Here I have added to the outside with ribbon, Designer series paper, Designer elements and a sentiment all from the suite.
I also dressed up the inside cover. Here I used the scripty 3D folder on the Night of Navy as a background layer. The very vanilla card stock is stamped with Mossy meadow, Merry Merlot and Daffodil Delight. Finishing touches with some washi tape, also from the suite.
This journal would make a lovely gift, perhaps for a young person heading into teen years, or college, a or even a bride. Each page has messages, inspiring thoughts and phrases.
