Woven Threads Thinking of you

Day two of playing with Woven Threads.  This is a companion card that mirrors the card I posted on Monday.  You can see that post here.Woven Threads Heartfelt Sympathy  Both were made in a similar fashion using the Woven Threads Designer Series paper and the die and embossing folders.

I don’t make a lot of shaker cards but this frame and the simple elegant sentiment stamped inside it just looked like it was made for some pretty sequins inside.

First I stamped using my stamparatus the sentiment on a piece of the DSP then I embossed that DSP with the Subtle 3d Embossing folder and adhered to my terracotta tile card base.

I added a piece of window sheet acetate to the back of the frame I had cut and embossed using the woven threads bundle.  Then I added strips  of dimensionals to the back of the frame , added sequins and then another piece of window sheet. I thought a little ribbon would be a nice touch so I added a piece of scalloped ribbon to the top of the frame then I adhered to the DSP with tear and tape for extra security.

Overall a very easy card to put together so long as you don’t bump it and scatter sequins all over the place, : )

Thanks for visiting today.  Friday I will be back with a pretty box I made using the pressed petals suite.  You don’t want to miss it.  Until Then…

Happy Stamping
