Beautiful Life with Memorable Mosaic

Unlike last Friday’s Post, this card I love.  And I should, since I copied it from the Annual Catalog.  I like to do that sometimes to get a feel for a stamp set or suite of products.  This was my first crack at making anything with this suite and I don’t know why I waited so long.

The suite comes with Memorable Mosaic stamp set, Timeless Label Punch, Specialty DSP ( more on that later ) Ribbon and flower faceted Gems plus a 3d Embossing folder.

The Break Down

TerraCotta Tile cardstock was cut to 4 x 5.25 and embossed with the Mosaic 3D embossing folder.  I layerd it over top of a full size card  of the same color.

Now about that DSP.  This is considered a Specialty Designer Series Paper because one side of each piece is coated with shiny embossing.  It makes it just stunning. Several sheets in the pack are made up of border designs.  I cut one entire piece along the border lines and used them for this project as well as having some for later.  The humming bird is also from the DSP. I just fussy cut around one and saved the rest of the paper for another time.

The sentiment was a bit tricky.  It is actually parts of two of the sentiments in the stamp set combined to make one sentiment.  If these had been photopolymer stamps instead of red rubber it would have been easier to line them up.  As it was, I positioned them using my Stamparatus, playing with them until I could get them lined up the way I wanted and then stamped on the Very Vanilla and punched with the Timeless Label punch.  I left the stamps on the Stamparatus so my class next week can do the same.

Thanks for visiting today.  I have more from this fabulous suite of products all set and ready to go for you later this week.  Until Next Time….

Happy Stamping
