Today I have my final project – at least for now – with the Toile Christmas and Tidings All Around stamps sets and Suite. The suite is so beautiful and rather refreshing to be limited to only Real Red and Garden Green. I’ve thrown in some Soft Suede too but only because I couldn’t bring myself to stamp the deer in Red.
The deer is from Nature’s Beauty, another sneak peek product from the new Holiday Catalog available Sept 4. If you can’t wait to get your hands on this and other new products, consider joining Stampin Up as a hobby demonstrator and adding it to your starter kit. More details on joining down below, but there is no pressure to sell anything else after you purchase your kit and there is no penalty to dropping.
How it came together
I stamped the beautiful wreath from Tidings All Around using Garden Green and cropped it out with the coordinating die. I stamped the pretty deer from Nature’s Beauty on a piece of Very Vanilla then cut it to the appropriate size using the wreath as a guide.
I thought it needed a bit more so I cropped the other wreath die using vellum, tore it into three pieces, set aside the bottom piece and layered the other two on the sides. One of them I turned over so the branches were facing up on both sides.
The small garden green branches are cut from a die from Toile Christmas and embellished with real red sparkling enamel dots.
At the last min I decided to add the piece of ribbon and the soft suede snowflake because they were laying on my work space looking lonely.
Thanks for visiting today. I hope you like my card. I love your comments and am happy to answer any questions you might have on how I make anything I post.
Next week I’ll be sharing projects using the Spooktacular Monster Bash suite. Halloween will be upon us very quickly so I want you to get a jump on making those projects. Until Next Time…
Happy Stamping
Lynn
