Today starts my series using the Monster Bash suite of products. If you like making cards and projects for Halloween, this is a suite you won’t want to miss out on. The Halloween season is short so be sure to plan your order for September 4 when the catalog goes live. You’ll have so much fun playing with this suite.
The suite comes with a super cute stamp set, ornate frame dies – more on those later – designer series paper, embossing folder, ribbon, enamel shapes and these really cute little coffin treat holders.
Treat Holders
I started with the treat holders. They come already cut and scored….all you have to do is tape together. But, to be really different, I added some embossing paste with one of the new masks all over the top and bottom of the holder. I also snipped out a piece of DSP for an inside liner. My final detail was wrapping the new black ribbon round the edge of the top.
One of the sheets of DSP is like a newspaper. I carefully cut out one article to use on my card but first I embossed a piece of basic black with the new dry embossing for some texture.
Ornate Frames
Now, lets talk about those frames – some are very scrolly – all the rest are stitched and they are all awesome. So much more than simply halloween themed. I’ve used these frames on all kinds of projects, not just the ones I’ve shown here, but I did use them three times.
Thanks for visiting today. Stop back on Wednesday. I’m participating in the InKing Royalty Blog Hop and our theme is Vacation. You won’t want to miss all the fantastic projects created by this group.
Until Next Time…
Happy Stamping
