On Monday I shared the Advent Christmas Countdown kit using the Christmas Countdown stamp set. Today I have a card I made using that stamp set.
There is something very pleasing about the color combination of Black, Red, and Vanilla, especially when combined with a cardinal.
Cut a piece of Toile Tidings DSP to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 and adhere using snail on a standard card base of Very Vanilla. Adhere a 5 x 3-3/4 piece of Basic Black using dimensionals.
Stamp the branch image using Memento Black and the Cardinal image using Cherry Cobbler Ink on a 4-1/2 x 3-1/4 piece of very vanilla. Color the leaves and cardinal with Cherry Cobbler stampin’ blends. Adhere to Basic Black with snail.
Use the two middle size stitched shape circles together on a piece of black in a die cutting machine to make a circle frame. Adhere to card front around the cardinal using black dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment using Memento Black on Cherry Cobbler. Crop with a rectangle stitched die.
Color pearls with Cherry Cobbler stampin’ blends and add to card front as shown. The alcohol markers permanently color the pearls. You can make pearls of any color with our Stampin blends.
