The last project for my friend Colleen is this cute pizza box she will fill with homemade treats. I used the Snowman Season Stamp and punch and made 100 of these babies.
I used the sample from the catalog to create my box. I didn’t have a lot of time to come up with ideas for Colleen to chose from so I went straight to the catalog for inspiration. Stampin Ups catalogs are full of such wonderful samples, you don’t have to figure out how to come up with your own when they are all there for the CASEing.
My Stamparatus came in handy
I used my Stamparatus to stamp out all the snowmen, hats and arms. I colored them with my Stampin blend markers including the shading of the snow with Balmy Blue. See my tip for using the Stamparatus with this stamp set here.
I also used the Stamparatus to stamp To and From on the bottom of the box.
In the sample, it shows the Real Red Curly Ribbon tied around the box. Since I’m making these for someone else to fill I didn’t want Colleen to have to tie all those bows so I opted instead for a bow attached to the front of the box.
Since I was making 100 of these and that meant 300 ‘Merry’ sentiments I decided not to stamp and heat emboss them. Instead, I used the Merry Christmas stamp from Christmas Gleaming. This is a reverse stamp in that the area around the world is what is stamped, not the word itself. This was perfect because I could use the stamp border as a guide for cutting it out.
Thank you for stopping by today. Wed nesday I’ll be sharing a new Halloween card my stamp class made. There is still time to order your Halloween project supplies. Until Next Time…
Happy Stamping
