For those of you who might think the Christmastime Is Here suite or the Christmas Rose stamp is just for Holiday cards, think again. I pulled out just the large Christmas Rose stamp set to create this birthday card. 
Nowhere is it written that roses are all red or that pine is only for the holidays. I took that to heart when I created this watercolored yellow rose.
Using the Stamparatus and versamark ink I stamped the Christmas Rose on Fluid 100 watercolor paper then embossed it with white embossing powder. I spritzed with water then used my aqua painter to color away. I thought a yellow rose with highland heather berries would be lovely. Here’s a closer look…
I cropped it with one of the stitched rectangle dies and mounted on my Gray Granite card base with a scripted embossed layer. Now that I have all of my embellishments in my countdown box I was able to find some sequins to compliment it.
