Tropical Oasis Sunset

Timeless Tropical

My second post this week using the Timeless Tropical suite.  You can see Monday’s post Here

I pulled out several coordinating items for the suite, including various sheets of cardstock, folder, stamp set, and that wonderful Tropical Oasis Designer Series paper.  I had an idea I wanted to have the palm trees over a sunset.  What makes this card a bit different is I started with a piece of Designer series paper. I selected a piece with so saffron and pineapples.  Perfect for sunset.

To create a sunset you have to start with a mask.  I punched a 2 inch circle from a piece of post-it note.  I used the negative to color in the sun, then switched and used the circle to color the background.  I did use lots and lots of colors.  I just kept adding and adding.  You can see the full list of products used below.

Thank you for visiting today.  I always appreciate your comments and answer all questions as soon as possible.  Until next time…

Happy Stamping
Lynn
