Hello All, I’m back today with more Painted Poppies. This suite is the one obviously featured on the cover of the new Jan-Jun mini catalog (see below for all the info on the new catalog) and for a good reason. It is stunning. I have had so many people tell me how much they love Poppies. And while they are perfect for Military remembrance, I think they are great for Birthday Cards too.
This card really plays up the die cuts from Peaceful Moments. I love how the leaves lay over each other to create the light and dark look.
My second card plays up the Peaceful Poppies Elements available in the suite. There are embossed vellum, embossed watercolor, embossed black shapes, and colored flowers. I used the label die from Painted Poppies to cut the vellum underlay and a circle punch for the sentiment. The rest of the pieces are all from the elements pack. And there are so many pieces. Plenty to make lots more cards.
Thank you for visiting today. I always appreciate your comments and answer all questions as soon as possible. Until then…
Happy Stamping
Lynn
